I've been to Germany, to Paris and then to Bretagne. It was totally great, even though i'm completely tired now.

One of the good news i had to share with you is the following: Hermine, from Journal de Jours, set up an exhibition with her letter-project. I had the chance to be one of the lucky whose letter has been shown during the exhibition! It's the one on the right side. Dankje, lieve Hermine.

En juin, que d'aventures. Des photos avec Chiara dans son adorable appartement de Bruxelles, des dîners sur les toits, un aurevoir à Bruxelles, que j'ai quittée pour me rendre à Tours (histoire de passer ma soutenance...). J'ai passé une semaine en Espagne, à Saragosse. Fête de la musique à Tours. Mon ami est ensuite rentré de Chine (impossible d'importer les photos...).

En mai, je suis revenue dans une Bruxelles en fleurs. Beaucoup de dîners entre amis, de petits déjeuners aussi, de promenades le matin tôt. Un autre stage dans un beau musée de Bruxelles. La découverte d'endroits inconnus. Des vernissages et des cafés entre amis. Un bouquet de fleurs reçu de Chine. La laverie, en fin d'après-midi.

En avril, je suis allée à Riga, puis à Saint-Pétersbourg où je suis restée trois semaines. J'ai fait du bénévolat au Musée de l'Ermitage. J'ai rencontré Mascha et Elena. J'ai vu des millions de choses incroyables, positives et négatives. Je suis ravie d'avoir fait ce voyage, qui fut aussi étonnant qu'éprouvant.

En mars, le temps a été plus clément. Malgré une montagne de travail, j'ai profité au maximum du temps passé en compagnie d'amis rencontrés à Bruxelles et d'autres, plus anciens, venus me rendre visite.

En février, il n'a pas fait beau. J'ai fait des allers-retours entre la Belgique et la France. J'ai vu des amis, suis allée à un enterrement, à une exposition sérieuse où j'ai beaucoup ri, fait visité ma nouvelle ville à des gens proches, dit aurevoir pour la deuxième fois à mon ami. Pas le mois le plus joyeux de l'année, mais un bon souvenir quand même.

@Lise: j'ai utilisé un canon ftb pour toutes ces photos.

Petit bilan avant de commencer la nouvelle année...

Décembre 2010 - Janvier 2011:

Jamais vu autant de neige (mon jardin à Bruxelles en était couvert). Un ami m'a rendu visite et nous avons vu ensemble les illuminations de la Grand Place de Bruxelles. Rencontre avec Charlotte Boeyden. Dans le métro, direction la Gare Centrale. J'ai passé les vacances de noël aux Pays-Bas dans ma famille. Retrouvailles avec mon chien Dandy. Mon petit ami m'a fait la surprise de rentrer deux semaines plus tôt de Chine. Promenades malgré le froid et la neige. Passage à Bruxelles de quelques jours. Une semaine en France, arrêt à Granville.

A quoi ressemblait votre mois de janvier de l'année dernière?

Here are some pictures taken at the Castle of Rigny-Ussé (the one which inspired Perrault to write "The Sleeping Beauty"). It's pretty amazing. I'm sorry to bother you (again) with a castle, i just live in a place in France where there are plenty of them.
I'm having the busiest week ever, so sorry of the lack of reactions to your nice comments and emails. I will answer as soon as holidays start!
